Joseph Davenport arrived here on Vancouver Island in 1912 and immediately got to work doing what he loved. Here is a one of his fine examples of a hand drawn map of three communities on Vancouver Island, Duncan, Cowichan Bay and Maple Bay. It was originally drawn in 1924 and last updated in 1952. It is reproduced on a heavy bond paper, sized at 36 x 51. Enjoy your trip into the past!
